And here's Anita, sitting on her hind legs. She just hunted a pheasant, and is carrying it back to the Mansion to clean it up. She will catch a scent of Jaenelle very early on, and so she angles towards her.

They do need to talk, after all.

She holds up her hands. "I wasn't planning on it." Quickly. "It's just...I worry too. And not just for him. For you."

"Alright. But you gotta stop worrying so much. I'm a big girl - and as I said, he's mine to take care of."

"I know." A pause. "But you hurt when your friends aren't well, same as I do."

[tomboy_22]

That softens her a little. "I know, hun. We both need to learn to let go, at least a little."

Except it might well make Nita sick again. But.

Almost a smile. "Please do. Or else I just have to worry about you."

"Bhhhhaaaa." Kitty!Nita comes closer, and stares at Jaenelle in the eye. "Same goes for you, sister."

A glance down. "It's my job to worry."

"Well, mine too, in case you forgot."

A little scowl. Anita's right.

"How am I supposed to just not worry?"

[tomboy_22]

A feline shrug. "Sounds like a personal problem to me. When I get the recipe, I'll email it to you."

Because she honestly doesn't know right now.

"Exactly." A sigh. "There's just...too much to do."

[tomboy_22]

"Which is why we need to accept to share responsibilities. And my pard is mine to protect. Leave them out of your purview." A pause. "I don't worry over much about the Blood exactly for that reason. They have you to take care of them. I trust you with that."

A hesitation. Jaenelle considers. And then she nods. "I can do that."

"Good. I'll help you if you ask. Will you do the same?"

Because that doesn't mean they are not friends anymore. They just need to get a few things straight.
