my boyfriend's parents are hoarders and it is literally making me sick.  every weekend where i spend most of my time indoors, i am sick and tired and groggy and stuffy all day long.  i only want to stay in my room because there is no where else to be without looking at piles of papers and food and impulse buys that never made it out of the bag.

My dad has gotten worse than ever with his hoarding and I'm ashamed for anyone to meet him

A lot of the time I can't talk to him for more than 30 seconds or my blood pressure goes through the roof, after I moved out and grew up

my friend Heather is the only person I've let meet him and only because her own family is pretty bad but they're still not as bad as him

his yard even looks like he's hoarding all the dead trees and leaves and mud in the neighborhood

yeah i could have written the stuff about the kitchen. i actually had a screaming fit at him last time i went to his house because he was like "yeah, i've seen Hoarders, I used to be that bad" and when i told him he wasn't normal he was like "not being normal is more interesting anyway"

i hate that you have to go through this, so much. no one should have to.

i know we don't really talk but i still love you and i'm always here if you need me
