LOL! I love it! I can completely see that as the relationship between Brian and River. Especially a younger River. And, yeah, leave the old goats boasting about their boring kid's careers.

(I also love, just as a meta side note. That the guy who plays Brian Williams, and Alex Kingston's daughter both have some of the most unbeatable geek credentials in the universe.

He's Mr. Weasley, father of Ron and Ginny, father in law of Harry Potter, and he's also Brian Williams, father of Rory the Roman, Grandfather of River Song and grandfather-in-law of the Doctor.

Alex Kingston's daughter is the daughter of River Song. Whose mother was once married to Voldemort.
