My commputer is not recongnizing my IPOD! Please help! (I've already tried to uninstall and reinstall the software.)

This is going to sound really dumb, but when I had that same problem, it was because of two things: a) the hold button was on on the iPod, and b) the iPod was not turned on.

*shrug* maybe it will work?
