What happened to Katie Reider??

She passed away a year ago today from a non cancerous tumor that was in her jaw. She fought the tumor for about two years. There is a website 500kin365.org that details her fight and things that are being done now in her memory. Karen is also doing a series of blog posts called "No Retakes" that have detailed her journey over the past year.

Yeah, I started googling after I posted to you and wow, so sad. I am way out of the loop and had no idea. That's really awful and sad. :(
