2nd Bullet: [RL] Aftermath of Hakuna Matata

[At DMC, with his feet kicked up on the desk per usual with a motorcycle magazine spread open, eyes shut. This whole thing with Lady...he was confused as hell. And worried what she'd do to him once she snapped out of it. Not that it wasn't great or anything, to be honest, it was fucking amazing. He just didn't want to get shot anytime soon.

[it took Lady only an hour into the check-in process at the airport to feel the affects of the virus begin to wear off. And, with the eventual wear of the virus, came the eventual guilt and disgust at the things she'd done while under its influence.

So, she took the most logical course of action; refunded her ticket, hopped a cab back into town, picked up a few magazines for her uzi and an extra clip for her 9 mm and took her Honda over to Devil May Cry. She was sure Dante would hear her pulling up outside, but she still had the element of surprise--none of that mattered at the moment, however, so she just walked in, guns blazing]

Doesn't happen often, but yeah. [Smirks, running one hand through his hair] Gonna go tell Larx about it now? Oh, right. She's still pissed at you.

[puts one hand on the desk, leaning against it] ...I dunno, maybe my instincts got the better of me or somethin'. You know me, Lady. I'm a dumbass.

[Her anger's a little deflated now, dammit. Since when have you been so hard to stay pissed at. She takes a seat on the desk, sighing.]

. . . I don't suppose it'd be possible to keep people from finding out about this one, would it.

Doubt it. We're not exactly the most loved of people on the comm. Plus... [snicker] I'm pretty sure Larx at least did something after your spat.

It's my nature, Lady. [smirks with a small grin; it's back to normal snark for Dante.] Anyway, I don't know about you, but I'm just going to take it in stride, fuck with them a little. It's more fun that way.

Since when have you known me to take anything in stride? You're lucky your head's still on, I certainly wasn't planning on letting it stay that way when I was first heading down here.

[snaps to a sharp glare] I wouldn't be so sure of that. You think that was the only weapon I brought? [climbs off his desk, rolling her eyes and taking a turn around the room] Natural charm my ass.
