Oh, well. A monster came upon the city about a year ago and a lot of people were stuck here. Other people have been brought here since then...and more monsters.

I think the quiet has something to do with that.

I hope you're okay. My name's Giselle, is there any way I can help you?

Monster? What kind of monster are we talking about here?

Eh, I'm fine. Except for a horrible headache behind my eyes right now. And being completely lost.

You said there are other people here? Where are most of the people? I think I should head there first.

A very large one. Actually, there's some smaller ones that aren't very nice either that you should be very, very careful of.

I could try to help. I've been all over the city.

Yes, there are a lot of other people here. Some are natives and others are from so many different places I've lost count. I think some of the best places to look would be the Bryant Park Hotel, the Mansfield Hotel, or the Library Hotel.

I live in a building we've dubbed Fort Strand. I think you would be welcome here as well.

Wait, how many of these things are we talking about here? This place looks like Meowzilla attacked or something.

Let me see, I see a lot of flagpoles outside the window, and I think...Aha. This paper has "United Nations" on it... Does that help at all, location wise? There's not much more out there that I can see to use as a marker.

Well, it's.. umm..

A monster attacked the city apparently, though now there's three of them. It's quiet because everyone's afraid to stay out for too long.

You must be new here. My name's Shiki!

There are three of them? Are these the big version, or the little versions I'm hearing about?

Well.. the little ones, as far as I know, are it's babies.

There's a big one, and two younger ones. There were two when I arrived.. The third one.. well.. sort of happened..

Sort of happened? What do you mean by that?

You already got the lowdown considering what happened, I see.

It's... always been quiet. You have to listen to the right places, Ma'am. Find some people.

Always? In a big city like this? Wouldn't have imagined it...

Can you possibly give me some directions, sir? I think I'm at the United Nations.

Depends on the where and when, really. It's New York, after all. Just takes a bit of getting used to in this condition. It's the city that never sleeps, one way or another.

I recommend you make your way to Bryant Park Hotel--it's where a lot of us are staying. It's a straight shot from 40th Street.

So, the city hasn't lost it's reputation...I doubt the clubs are still open...not enough people anymore?

I may stop by there, someone's coming to find me right now~

Yeah, it's a real bummer here sometimes, but it's definitely better than when it's noisy!

I can understand that for lack of traffic noise. But I think I would miss the sound from all the people wandering around. I wonder how many people are really around there? Do you have any ideas?

I don't know.. the number seems to change quite a bit. Sometimes we get a lot of people, but lately a lot have been disappearing mysteriously with no trace left behind..

So, people arriving out of nowhere is normal? I'm pretty sure I was on the way somewhere with my partners and I woke up here...

(Screened to Missy:Easy)

Missy, what's going on? I was just with you and Foxx on the way to a mission, and I woke up here...

Remember those old Godzilla movies Derek loves so much? 'Round here, we get to be the screaming crowds, 'cept our dubbing matches.

...I was kinda hoping you wouldn't show up here.

From what I hear, they have. Knocked it dead. It came back.

Well gee, Starr, there's three giant monster's runnin' around along with a whole bunch of the little vicious ones, nobody really knows what the heck's goin' on, someone just turned into one of the monsters, and from what we know there's no way out. You really think I'd want anyone I know goin' through this?

Look, where are you? I'll come get you.

Whaaa? Seriously? This does not bode well, at all!

...Looks like we have a lot of talking to do, don't we? I'm pretty sure I've only heard about the monsters, not the fact that someone TURNED INTO ONE! Oh boy.

I'm at the United Nations. Pretty sure.
