So I've been doing masterlists for my fic. Unfortunately, I suck and did not put ratings, summaries or warnings on anything in paragraph until recently. I will have to slowly but surely go back and add this stuff to the masterlists. And I haven't even finished because I still have to do an RPF one. I'm debating on that one though because most of my stuff is

yeah, my mom had a set of dishes that were a gift like that. but she claimed they were the 'good' dishes and hid them away only to bring them out when the mil was over. ;)

I'd go ahead and ditch the brown dishes - don't mention it to your dad unless he asks, and then just explain that a bunch got broken and you needed to replace them, so just got a new set. and though the Mikasa is gorgeous, but those prices are outrageous! unless you can find a major sale, I think I'd go with the red-band Corelle for now; maybe splurge on one place setting of the Mikasa just for you if you can afford it.

yeah, i'm going to give all the brown ones to charity when i start puttting my kithcen back together. i have really expensive tastes, huh? lol. i probably will do the corelle unless i can find a deal.
