The Shih Tzu rescue people started calling my references today and the feedback from all of them (including mutinous thank you so much, bibi!) points toward me getting a home visit in the next week or so. Almost all the dogs from this rescue agency come from puppy mills so I will be getting a special needs dog of some sort. I'm a bit nervous about that

i can't either. my mom wouldn't even let me watch the previews for the oprah episode about the puppy mills because i get so sad.
