after being on a waiting list for 2 fucking years, i finally, finally have a parking permit for the train station closest to my house. this means:

• no more paying a dollar a day to park
  
• no more driving to the station on the other side of town
  
• or getting up at the ass-crack of dawn to park in the hickory st. lot just so i can walk a mile to the
