Interesting looking house - it screams 'So Haunt Me'. Only a bit bigger.

When they are gone they are gone forever, and by the sound of it the current owner has bought it with a specific view to developing the plot. Shame,it does look a nice old building.

a) to make way for other buildings
b) because of subsidence and structural dodgyness (according the the surveyors for the people who want to do a)

I've no doubt it'd cost a small fortune to fix up, it has to be said. But... it's so lovely. I really hope the owner of it decides to put it right rather than going with the knock it down and develop the land for other property.

It does seem a shame. The structure doesn't actually look too bad from that pic.
