The dream is more likely to mean the end of something that is happening around you and the start of something new rather than the end of YOU, though I guess it doesn't hurt to have a check up.
As a child I twice dreamt of my auntie dying and within a couple of weeks she announced she was pregnant which was in effect the end of a life she was used to and the start of a new one.
I've narrowed it down to several things it could be, good suggestion! :)
Though I'll still be heading to the doctors - the nightmares are different each night but I'm not sleeping at all well. Death in dreams is always a bit unnerving, but it isn't the worst of them.
But it isn't the worst of them.melancholyrose_February 25 2009, 15:07:44 UTC
I think my worst dream was as a child/teenager where I was carrying a pile of very small matchbox car tyres and as I was walking they kept on getting bigger and bigger until they turned into tall skyscrapers and I couldn't stop it. I think this dream indicated I was getting stressed and things were getting out of my control, it has turned into a different dream since my dad died and now it is water coming through the ceiling in a huge house I live in and I can't stop it but when I go into the attic to find out what's wrong my dad is up there trying to sort it out, strange really as I was never close to my dad.
