Have an amazing time in Paris, that sounds soooo wonderful. And good luck with lunch w the ex. Don't let her intimidate you, say anything snarky, or let her get to you. You're the one in an amazing place.

And that's great that you got what you wanted without even asking. Things just managed to work its way out! And meeting Balqis will be an epic post lol.

Thanks honey, I reckon, you know even if it's raining, or we meet the odd unfriendly Parisian, or we get ripped off etc at least we're in Paris! Mm, I don't know if I'm taking it badly but...I mean her comment on my latest FB status is so nice- but I know it's partly based on her comparing me with the previous girlfriend, Catherine, who she was great mates with too. Sigh. Maybe I'm being too sensitive.
Can't wait to meet Balqis!

Eeks so cool. Can't wait either!!

Hope you have a wonderful Paris. Eat lovely Parisian macarons and baguettes! That's just lovely, to go on holiday with your man. Sigh. And I think your Alex has impeccable timing with the compliments and telling you why he loves you.

Are you actually friends with Jess that you have to meet her? There is no way she will not ask "so... how are you and Alex?" so I guess you should come up with a rather diplomatic answer, then deflect lol. Good luck with the dinner. I mean if you were friends before, you should still be friends now.

It'll be so great. Anytime you want a theatre buddy, I'm THERE.
Omg, yes of course, macaroons! And tartines in the morning and loads of teeth-rottingly sweet pastries mmmmm.
Yes, I was friends with Jess long before the man. I'm sure it'll be OK-ish. Hopefully that evening I'll get to stay with him anyway so yeah, I can just bear that in mind!

The thought that should run through your head if things go bad is "I'm the one who's going to have Alex tonight". So there's nothing to worry about. Lol. Oooh do not forget lovely fresh and truly French croissants. I'm getting jealous. :P
