Thoughts on Native American Cinema, monocles, and butt shenanigans

Yesterday in my Graphic Novel class, my drawing professor gave a lecture on art direction and composition in cartoons and comics. It was all good and well, and I'm sure I will find all those riveting details useful in all aspects of my life, but the words that resonated most in my soul was,

"... and doesn't frustrate the rear."

I SAY, MY GOOD SIR, ( Read more... )

that's not even a challenge! emperor's new groove, "when the sun hits these just right, they sing!"

two questions: what movie should i see this weekend, O connoisseuse?

and, most importantly: how does keanu reeves fit into this whole saga?

YES! Not enough people recognize the greatness that is Emperor's New Groove.

Hmm, what movie should you watch? Well that depends. Are you looking to watch something on the "don't-want-to-see-must-see" list?

I enjoyed Dr. Parnassus, and feel like it might be your surreal cup of tea as well. Right now I kind of feel like watching In Bruges. Have you seen that one? It has everything: comedy, drama, violence, romance... Ralph Fiennes.

AGREED! and you know, speaking of underrated things, i'm on playlist.com listening to a "let's get ready to rumble" playlist for the WWE - it's actually good!

noo, if there's any "don't want to see" list, then i really don't want to see it. i did see gone with the wind. ..kinda wish i hadn't, it was not worth it. dr paranassus sounds interesting.. if only because it's heath ledger's last work. isn't that sad? and i'm still kinda on a jude law high and want to see more of him.. i can't wait until sherlock is out in dollar theaters!! :D

Dude, I remember that you saw Gone with the Wind. Shortly after, I found out that Karen had also watched it. I thought, "What's with these fobs and voluntarily watching our boring American must-sees???"

Haha Jude Law as Watson was great. I appreciate him covering up that bald spot with such a dapper hat. Have you seen I Heart Huckabees? Jude's in that one. It's a funny.

And in response to your previous question, I will answer it with another question. When doesn't Keanu Reeves fit into your life saga? Everyday, one should ask oneself, "And how does Keanu Reeves fit into all this?"
