So, you're starting this now?

Well, we've had quite the influx of arrivals, right? Better get started before they eat everything!

[Is about to reply with something along the lines of "no", but reconsiders after a bit of thought]

Interesting project. As with everything else, I keep a record of my own stores, such as they are - I can pass on a list.

I wouldn't want any material to waste a life on such a preventable death like starvation.

[Also, everything he owns is drugged in one way or another, with things that really need more testing on a wider population.]

That is an excellent point. Your future test subjects will grow up to be healthy, upstanding specimens under my loving care and affection.

[Oh dear, they're all doomed, aren't they?]

Very good. I wouldn't want anything accidental to happen to them. I'm more than willing to pass on any extras I have.

[But a very fascinating doom it could be!]

I'm sure they'd love to avoid that as well! Your generosity is greatly appreciated, kind citizen!

[Indeed, it could. Indeed, it could.]

Because that is "helping", of course. No, really. What are you up to, Ling?

I'm hurt that you'd think of me that way, Miss Winry. I am truly and honestly hoping to make Adstring a better place for all who live here.

You wouldn't want to have to scavenge outside in another blizzard, would you? What if an event stripped the place of animal life, hm?

I'm being proactive!

endureandwait April 29 2010, 23:32:10 UTC
Yes, it is a good idea, in theory, but someone like you would probably eat at least some of it.

I'm not asking that anyone give me anything! I just wanna know who has what so I know who to ask in a crisis situation! Honeeeeest!

Food supplies, food supplies~ It would be good to know what everyone has to offer.

For a genius, you can sure miss the point sometimes, hm?

I agree that an inventory on food supplies is a good idea!

But... why you?

[Oh, Ed. Ling is looking at you like that was the most obvious thing in the world.]

Who would know more about food than me?
