Jack Kibler died this morning. He was a psychology professor at Mary Baldwin, and aside from Dr. Anastasiou, was my closest mentor and friend in that department (they were best friends, and kind of came as a package deal). He taught my favorite class, Physiological Psych, and was the one responsible for kindling my love of neuropsych. He went with

Sorry to hear about this, Ali. Please realize that whenever a friend dies you feel something like this. You'll always say: Oh, if only I'd said this or done that. It's really hard...in fact, impossible...to live totally in such a way that you have no regrets. I guess you'd have to have no friends at all.
