In need of career advice . . .

I am currently working in a job where I pretty much just put text on acrylic awards, edit a few graphics here and there, and run a laser engraver. It's insanely monotonous and I really do dislike it. If you don't like your current job, drop it. I guaruntee you'll never regret trying to find something better. Having just gotten out a crappy job that I stayed with longer than I should have because it was "convienent," I can tell you than it's not worth trying to "stick it out". You have to make yourself happy first and foremost. And trust yourself a little bit - if you feel that this is the right thing to do, then it is! Besides, you love animals and animals love you ;) I still think you should become a ferret vet, though. Did you know that 50% of people in America hate their jobs? Don't become a statistic!

If you want it and Avery is down, I say go for it. If you two aren't resorting to sharing the cat food with the kitties, there's no reason to stay at a job you totally hate.
