c-c-canon update

Apr 06, 2011 00:17

PLAGUE is out, which means I will be canon updating Brianna at some point in the near future. The only real important stuff as far as Camp goes are the first two and last sections - everything in the middle is just me being long-winded.

This got a little long and there are SPOILERS )

vanya's beetles, canon info, never forget the cello string, canon update

TOTALLY NORMAL.

Well at least she hasn't hit on horribler ways to use her super speed.

I think she already does enough horrible things with it. OH MAN if Hellion ever found out all the stuff she did to Drake he will be so mad at her. Does it count if the dude can't actually die?

The cello string and super speed is bad enough; let's just hope she doesn't get string with real tensile strength.

I really need to read this series, if only to see how bad it gets for them.

Also, it so counts! But Julian's response to finding out someone is invulnerable is to hurl them into a mountain, which is not really an option for Brianna.

Y-yeah.

YOU SHOULD. If you are pinged by superpowers, trauma and more trauma, this is the series for you.

HAHA well, Brianna's response was to stab him in the chest, shoot him in the face, slice him into three pieces, contemplate dancing on his body, and then gloat about how awesome she is. It turned out awesomely for her. :|

IT SOUNDS LIKE SO MUCH TRAUMA. I. Can't deal with that in kids books. 8(

It's true, the amount of trauma just goes up with every book. I am half expecting the final book to end with the FAYZ wall disappearing only for scientists or the government or something to snatch all the mutant kids away and lock them in mutant prison forever. Because I would not put it past Michael Grant to do that.

This sounds almost as depressing as the Hunger Games.

. . . At least she hasn't killed anyone yet?

So the guy doesn't die from all those injuries because that's his mutant power? Does he even feel pain?

Also, anger/hatred/vengeance is the the path to the dark side. Baaaaaw, she's losing her innocence . . .

It's sort of a long story, buuut at this point, Drake is physically dead - the Darkness is using him, so his zombification isn't really a mutation on its own. And because he's already dead, stabbing, shooting or slicing him won't be able to stop him. He just reforms.

YEAHHH unfortunately at this point, she's pretty fucked up for a twelve year old.
