Very cool photo, ESP! What a unique angle. And I love seeing wee people enjoying your garden. So many garden blogs lack that essential human perspective. Yours, never.

Hi Pam and thanks. This shot reminds me of an old 70's album cover somehow? It is amazing to me already to read some of my earlier posts and see just how much the hobbits have changed. A blog is a great way to capture a time-line.
Cheers Pam, ESP.

Thank you Kim, we had a fun day messing around with these cut cattails. The ground was covered in a blanket of their seeds.

Oh yeah, that's a good one for the subject. I really enjoy the photos of your garden with your kids playing in it. With a lawn, kids just play there. With gardens the kids tend to learn things while they play. They will know later in life just how lucky they were. Bob at Draco

Hi Bob.
My daughter is already asking for a small plot in the patch to plant her "flowers". She gets annoyed that I never buy the "pretty" flowers..."Why don't you like flowers?" she sadly asks! I find it really funny.

Thanks Bob and I hope so.
