Taxes: boo. I haven't started mine yet. I'm sure it'll be great fun, since I worked as an independent contractor and then an employee at the same company last year... and then there was Kaplan. Haven't got a W2 from Kaplan yet.

Beliefs: Sweet. I always run out of motivation before I finish those posts, but I look forward to seeing yours.

i'm trying the online forms (bonus: can get your refund as a direct deposit AND they'll do some of the math bits for you), but it's kind of a pain because you don't have all the instructions laid out nicely so you can go line by line. they have pdfs, of course, but it's not the same...
so yeah, you too can feel the pain of schedule c. though if you get a 1099 it's probably not so bad because they have the numbers filled in for you already...
also you should be getting your w2 soon. i think they're required to send them by end of january?
