This fic is, as I mentioned on my lj, really damn awesome.

It's everything, and knowing that he trusts her with this much of himself, well, it's enough to make her forget what he won't.

I love how everyone seems to respect the boundaries that Dick puts up - it's really nice that we've never had a dramatic 'why don't you trust us??!?!!?' scene.

"I wish you'd talk to me," she says finally, sick of watching him wear out the floorboards. She rises to her feet and steps in front of him before he can make another pass, taking his hands in hers. "Let me help you."

Dick looks at her for a long moment, and it's only because Zatanna knows him that she can see the war that he's fighting with himself. Something flashes in his eyes, and for just a second Zatanna thinks she's won. But then his mouth covers hers, and she knows she hasn't won anything at all.

Babies! Dick, you don't have to do everything alone!

I am still beyond pleased that you liked it!

I like that we've never had that scene too. As much as I loved the communal sharing scene at the end of season one, I like this more almost. Because not every secret is the same, and you have to get to that place on your own or it's meaningless. And for god's sake, LET SOMEONE HELP YOU.
