ohhhhhh, this is FANTASTIC.

I love the picture you painted, of Carrie and the boys and their house and the refuge, and all the FEELINGS running through it all. I like how it hurts, how it's not easy, how it's all from her point of view.

I don't read a ton of this pairing, I don't know why, but this is gorgeous. Thank you so much for posting it!

Right, so I've never followed either of their lives or know anything about them beyond David's season of Idol and a few of Carrie's songs, but this was FANTASTIC. I loved the domesticity of this and the way she realized how she felt about him and a talk with her mother and FEELINGS and fdlgjdlkfg I'm such a sucker for RPF, even when I know next to nothing about the people it's about. Congratulations, you just made me ship them. :)
