This is one of my favorite fics from Yuletide. I don't know WHY I didn't realize this was yours when I read it. I think I probably should have :P

Everything about this is so incredibly real. Seconding sweetjamielee: this hurts. But I love it.

oh my god this is perfect. so beautiful and absolutely true to the show and the characters. will, alicia, diane - these aren't the dramatic characters you find on most shows. they're sensible, rationale creatures and you captured that perfectly. the ending where nothing was solved and everything left unsaid and uncertain was so like the show and so like life. i feel like alicia/will should never resolve the "thing" they have because it would be so much more realistic.

so beautifully written, and damn, so achey. x
