I'm so glad you posted this! I love how Miley views Nick, and it's so different from Nick's POV, where he feels out of sorts and shaken up by her, and it's so nice to see that she's just as affected by him.

I had such a hard time writing Miley at first (I default to male POVs, I don't know why), but she was so much fun to play with. And yeah, the best part about them for me is that they're equally affected by each other. Thanks, darlin'!

I love this so much, and am not going to lie, was super excited to see you had written a new story that was so long and still not finished!

I love the way you write Miley here, the fact that she is torn and confused in this situation and wants to be mature about everything, yet follow her heart. The way she's trying to keep her emotions in check is perfect, and yet Nick still gets to her in this way that makes it hard for her to do.

I cannot wait for more.

Hee, thank you! I can't believe I'm writing something this long to be perfectly honest.

And double thank you, because I love your Miley voice so much it's not even funny! I was worried at times she might be coming off as bipolar, because I had her emotions bouncing around so much, but I feel like that's what actually happens in situations like those, right? So I'm glad it came off the way I meant it to, and not as what I feared.

this is really gorgeous. i love how you managed to find the essence of sixteen-year-olds inside nick and miley. they're so adult sometimes - nick especially - and i love that together they let themselves be sixteen. really, a+ for characterization. :)

and i really love the whole concept of this. to show the pull they both seem to have for each other while knowing they should probably stay apart. their banter was perfection. and miley and her mom shooting her the we'll-talk-later look... idk, everything was just really, really great.

My honest to god favorite part about Miley (when it's not making me crazy) is how sixteen she is, even while living her crazy adult life. And I kind of think that's why Nick is so drawn to her, because she lets him be that way too. So I'm glad they're coming across that way, because it's totally what I was going for. :)
