My good friend Cookie was talking about the Masters of the Universe Classics line, and I realized I knew next to nothing about it; so I looked it up. It's pretty cool, though there are an unfortunate number of He-Man variants. I wish I had Trapjaw, Mantenna, and Mosquitor, toys I thought were cool when I was a kid and always wanted, but were

Just be grateful there aren't as many variants in MOTUC as there was during the last relaunch, 2/3 of that line was nothing but variants which was utterly terrible and probably half of all figures were He-Man and Skeletor variants. They certainly went the Batman route with ridiculous armors.

I'm still sad they're trying to wrap things up for MOTUC and New Adventures is getting the short end of the stick in all of this. Despite never caring for New Adventures because of the cartoon and the figures that looked nothing like their predecessor, I do feel they need to be included in this line and finally be given their due.

I'm crossing my fingers that 2015 isn't the jumping off point and that if it is, they stick to their word about trying to finish off that era over the course of 2-3 years, but I'm highly doubtful of it.
