MY DAY SO FAR

A pleasant morning for walking.
About 65 degrees, lots of sunshine.
Light breeze blowing.

I’m always on the lookout for the broken shells.
They are more interesting to me than the perfect ones. And, it is amazing to me how many different shapes and things can be packed into about 6 square inches.

Thanks so much.
I got the Easy Rower at Home Depot. I'll let you know how I like it.

We have a wheelbarrow that looks a bit like that, and it is very handy for taking everything down to the garden and back up again in one go. So I understand you happiness :)

I love all your photos. There is something special about broken shells. Those buzzards look black and...horrible. Sorry, shouldn't say that about wildlife.

I particularly love the one where the retriever is looking down into the water at the ball.

I agree with you about the buzzards. They do their thing and clean things up, but who wants to see it.

And yes, I thought that one of the retriever was good. I love the way dogs cock their heads inquisitively.

The shell photo is awesome! Which is not to say the others don't rock too, but that's my favorite of the bunch. :-)

Thank you. I think the broken shells have such character. They have taken a great beating in life, and much of them is broken or worn away, but still they survive, and what is left is amazing in lines and form and beauty.

What a nice walk. I LOVE vultures. There's only one Turkey Vulture among all those Black Vultures.

Is the Turkey Vulture the one that's got the lighter mixture of feathers? Do you know what are the other all black ones?

I love when a big group of them are soaring in the sky. They are wonderful to watch, and beautiful in flight.
