Here’s another from the lost 2012 camera card. I'm still on US 322 in PA and with the horses across the road from my childhood homestead. Awwwww...I want to feed her a few apple slices and give her several minutes of gentle stroking. Poor ol' gal.

I know! I want to just hug her neck and feed her some sweet treats. It almost looks like someone gave her a haircut, doesn't it?

It DOES! Noting the autumn time frame, one can understand why she looks so scruffy wearing her winter coat. And one wants to console her. As we know, horses should never be kept alone. They need the herd.
