I am a person who rarely laughs out loud. I smile a lot, and inside I think many things are funny, but as far as laughing out loud….that just doesn’t happen very often for me. I’m the opposite. I don’t smile a lot, but I laugh out loud even at silly commercials. I actually meant to post more about it today.

That’s a great story about your mom watching the show. I cannot control myself with America’s Funniest Videos. It’s my favorite show of all times.

Thinking of the times I heard Mom laugh - she loved the show Keeping Up Appearances and would laugh so much at Hyacinth.

I forgot about that. I know she liked that show and dad did, too. I used to VCR tape so many of them down here and mail them up (Mr. Bean for dad and John) because they couldn't get it up there. Eventually I think they were able to buy seasons of them in the store. But I wasn't there anymore so I wasn't around when they watched them.

I laugh out loud. Old Flame laughs out loud (but he has a very good sense of humour). Even Gyro laughed! I come from a family who laughed, although it was hard for mum to express her emotions, so her laughter was more guarded and not expressed as much. Dad's quite a loud sneezer, too, although it's not irritating ( ... )
