What a nice botanical park to have near you!

Rainy days are always good for taking photos. They are here, anyway, where the sun is so harsh. It seems to have worked for you, because that is a really nice photo!

I love the rainy and overcast days. I don't mind getting wet myself, but my camera ....no way!

The botanical park is close enough to bike there. It has been my "go to" place more than any other since we moved here.

The royal palms certainly look large and stately. They make the gate look tiny in comparison. I didn't realize that the park had only been there since 2000. They have done a lot of work in a short period of time.

Royal Palms are the largest/tallest of all the palms (that I know of). Yes, the year we bought this house we are in now, they started clearing the land. It is the most "ever-changing" place I have ever seen. They are constantly renovating, ripping out plants and putting in new ones.
