Big Bird found a new friend . . .

Remember I said I was going to Debra’s the other day to watch her throw at the wheel and photograph the peacocks. Well, while I was there Big Bird (that's what Debra calls him), the alpha male, would not stay away from my car. He saw his reflection and was rubbing, kissing, stretching his feet up on it. Gorgeous photo...what a great idea!! We used to have peacocks here on the farm. One day the male was roosting in the garage loft and came flying out right over the top of my head as I was going in the door. I have a whole different outlook on peacocks since then :)

I had a hard time believing they could even fly until I actually saw it. It was quite an amazing sight....and they are fast, too.
