I think it will get better with time. Not completely gone but better. I'm sorry it was so bad for you. I don't understand why you weren't put under. Anything like that I would want totally to be knocked out. I don't want to see or feel anything until it's over. I had them totally knock me out when I had my wisdom teeth pulled so far is the only surgery I have had. Took me a week to recover from that. I think your sister is totally right and I hope you get there in time.

Thanks for sharing....even if it is a difficult story. I hope your healing is swift and not painful. Take care as you are recovering and remembering Artie!
Can I be British and say; 'they got it and if they hadn't you'd have ended up with a horrid weeping, unhealing hole.'
Dad has had LOADS of those like yours done, including a HUGE one right across his cheekbone. The consultant said, 'you'll have a distinguished scar' but you can hardly see it now.
I just put in a search for images of "before and after mohs surgery" and it is amazing how good these things look after they are healed. The "before" is awful (which is why maybe I don't think you should look) but the "after" is nearly completely undetectable. I hope you can have faith that it will be okay - I do really believe your scar will unnoticeable in time.
