a true transient moment . . .

Pete called me outside to see the sunset tonight. I took this from the front yard, and it faded so quickly that I only got one shot. Does it remind you of anything?

Yes, I saw a dolphin jumping straight away.

Very nice catch. I love the sunbeams!

Thank you.
I was at the Island Gallery yesterday and met a nice couple visiting here from Australia. I told them I had a friend who lived in Queensland, but I knew nothing of the towns/cities and where they were. I asked them where they lived and they said "north of Noosa." Anywhere near you? I loved their accent and listening to them talk. All I know is their names are Wendy and Mel, and she is an artist--a painter, just starting out at age 55. She showed me some of her work on her phone and it is exceptionally good. I wish I had thought to get more information, but I did give them my card with website and email on it and they said they'd contact me. I'll keep you updated on this couple if/when I hear from them.

It is such a common sight to see the real thing down here doing exactly that, and what a thrill it was to see it mimicked in the sky.

It was hard to miss and it popped right out as soon as I looked at the sky.
