I'm glad to hear Pete is moving ahead soon with the surgery. Then the sooner he'll be all healed again!

He wanted to have the surgery even sooner, but the only earlier opening they had was December 23 and coming home on Christmas day. The next opening was January 13, so he took that.

My daughter does portrait photography, one of the things she did with my group at Jug Handle was to tell everyone to turn to the person next to them and start talking. Seemed silly but the photo was really fun! She also was very careful regarding where everyone stood and moved people into place.

That is a really cool idea. I am going to suggest that. I think Tammy wants many scenarios, like one with Vince & Jane, one with each family, then just the kids, and different ones with Vince & Jane, and then all of them together. I'm just so glad it is digital and I can take as many as I want to experiment. I think we are going to place a bench outside under a big tree and have V&J sit on the bench and the various family members surround them in different poses.

Thanks on the picture above. Sometimes just the quickest and simple thing works out. Most of my photos are usually taken on the move, so this posing people is going to be different.

I love your wild grass. You need something simple with all you have going on! Have fun with all the people, though.

Pete's surgery is coming up fast. And he IS keeping busy!

Good luck with your photography. You take the best photos, so I think the family portrait will come out well.

It will be interesting to see how the calender turned out. I bought our calender today, and I was surprised with the quality of the photos in it (of the local area). I think your camera club calender will be excellent!
