Sweet ~ so nice that you have these items to remind you of your childhood, your father, and many happy times! You are so clever to be able to find a way to put these items into your world today ~ good job!!!
Great story......I did not know there were movies of the cottage....how do I get to see them????? I never knew that it was that big in the way you described it, now I really must see some pictues and or videos. I would love to spend the day with you watching and looking through old stuff from PA, You know I LOVE walking down memory lane. Is all this stuff up north?

Thanks, Tracy!
Yes, all the photos and movies are up north. The movies are film on reels and I don't know if the movie projectors are still up there and even working. Mary Lou will have to answer that. Maybe if Mary Lou comes across any of the old photos, she would scan them and send them down to us.
I'd say the cottage was maybe 40 feet long or even longer, and about 12-15 feet deep. It had a fireplace on the back side. It had wonderful windows in it and I've got four of them here in our shed with all the original hardware and glass still intact.
