After we got home last night I sat down to work on the new photo thing. I think I've figured it out. I'm still a little confused about the multiple picture thing, but I think I've got it. It will just take a little time of doing it several times, and to forget about the old way. I bet you get it right away.
I finally did figure out the multiple picture thing. It bothered me so much all during the party I kept thinking about it and was anxious to try it as soon as all went home. It turned out to be fairly easy, but I just needed some quiet time to work on it. I think you'll do fine.
I always browse my own files for pictures and they tell you to hold down CTRL or Shift button for multiple shots. I did this a few times and it worked. But there's still the old way imbeded in my brain that keeps getting in the way (for now), and I have to forget that and move on to the next new and reinvented, updated, improved (so they say) thing in this electronic world.
I hope you get the new LJ picture thing figured out - looks like you did - you have the beautiful water lotus photo posted. I'm planning that someday I can organize all my LJ photos - maybe this new method would be easier for that (I hope).
The part about organizing on LJ, I don't understand. I just browse my own folders and picture files to post here.
Thanks about the party. I will be glad when it is all over. I've still got a few things to do this morning. The graduation last night went very well and I got lots of photos. I love to people watch, but rarely take pictures of them. Last night we got there plenty early to get a good seat in the bleachers and of course we were surrounded by a wide variety of people, coming and going past us all night and I took some pictures, mostly closeups of different parts of them.
Everyone should be gone by 6:00 and then maybe I can get to my pictures. I'm anxious to see what I got, too. Hmmm . . . seems like in my mind, I've already bypassed the party and have moved back into my comfort zone.
