Atrium redo . . . Monday morning

Well, I got the new paint for the atrium and I can hardly wait to get started! I didn't take a paint chip with me of what is on the walls now, but it didn't take me too long to pick out the purple I liked. And what a perfect name it is for my secret garden

I have until November to get that done. Right now the design is being drawn in my mind. That's the way I usually plan a design, sometimes for weeks or months (if I have the luxury of time) before it goes down on paper. As soon as the outside stuff gets done, I'll start on the glass. We are having a graduation party/birthday celebration here for two of my grandsons the first Sunday in June and I hope to get the atrium and other outside stuff done by then.

Oh, thank you, thank you! I've always loved purple and lime green together. And I never did like that brown of the cememt blocks before, so this will be a big change.

Great color. I love the name too. Makes me think of my favorite spool of string. I was drawn to a blue one when I was a kid and was thrilled to find it out was called "Parakeet Blue".
