BABY RABBIT
I was really feeling down yesterday. I had been alone all day and really missing my brother, but when Pete came home from work, I collapsed on him for some hugs, and I started feeling a little better. Then he went outside to move the bags of greenery he’d piled against the wall, (he trimmed trees all weekend) to set them out for garbage pickup the next day, and there was this little baby rabbit all huddled up in the corner. Pete came running in the house to get me and I went out with my camera and took a bunch of pictures of the little guy. He was so cute! It’s hard to tell in these pictures just how big he is, but I would say about four inches long. As I moved around him, he changed positions and I was able to get these two good shots. He was just adorable! Anyway, I got in too close and scared him and he hopped around the corner and across the yard and was gone. I can’t believe how just that little happening made me feel so much better. Thanks, little rabbit.
