Last night we were supposed to get a freeze here (north and east of us). We are so near the water, that we are usually about 10 degrees warmer. The patio temp this morning was 38, and I just heard on TV they got down to 28 east of us. Excellent - so it was tomatoes in a bag. BLT sounds wonderful.

I had my doubts about it when I first saw it, but it does the job it is intended for. I just have to remember it is there and not get busy with something else in the kitchen and forget about it.

I'm so cold. They were predicting 28 for us. I don't know if it got that bad but we had all the heaters on and the electric blanket. I got up late because of that. Didn't want to get out. Lots of burned plants outside.

That's a nice automated stirrer. Cool.

You should be warmed up a little bit by now. I think it actually got colder than 28 in some parts. I heard 22 and 24. We don't have an electric blanket anymore. I wish we did, 'cause it felt so good on cold nights and better than the dry heat. I have a hard time getting out of bed, too, when it is so cold. I haven't been outside yet to see if I lost anything.

Yes, we aren't really set up for the cold very well down here. I just hope there's not a repeat of two years ago when we had two solid weeks of in the 20s!

Pleased I guessed tomatoes right! I have been looking at the RoboStir and trying to decide if it's a good idea...I think you've just convinced me to get one. Hmmm...sounds rather cold for you, but if the day warms up it's not so bad I guess. BTW, nice to see you in the pics!
