This is very touching Rachel, I realize that the last days have been a bigger impact for your and your friend's lifes than probably for anybody else. For most students it's just a big celebreation, a party dedicated to freedom( or whatever one may call it). Not for you, besides the hard work you were forced to do over all those years, this place made you find real friends, a community, even true love. Now, school's out, and you're about to head in different directions. And not only for a vacation. I think Jeremy feels exactly like you do, just can't put it into words. Maybe he's affraid to become lonely now without the friends he loves. You still have Duane, and already plans for the future. He has just lost his hope to go to university. Not fair the way it happens. And he surely don't wants to bother you with his problems - as you said he doesn't know it better. Keep trying Rachel, he might come out of his shell sometimes. I'm sure going to university has been a dream for him, like it was for me. I also had to wait, not knowing if

You'll always be good friends, and I think he knows that already. And as I said already, keep trying Rachel. Something inside him wants to get out. And there's no better person to help him on that than you.
