I received an email recently from a woman with a bead store, who asked me all sorts of in-depth business questions--I was pretty puzzled. I mean, I'm about the furthest from an authority on that. And if I were such an authority, um, I'd have a bead store. ha!

I feel weird giving advice, especially considering I've never really had a banner year in this industry, honestly. I've always had to supplement myself with outside jobs.

Well, I do appreciate the need for people to ask questions. I had much help along the way, and I also ask my peers a lot of questions as well.

It is hard to give advice to random strangers on the internets though, and even though I do like to give, I think sometimes it bites me on the butt. It is sort of helping my "competition", you know? I hate to look at it that way, but it is true. Sometimes I feel like I give and give and I am not feeling it in return.

I think the copyright thing is really getting me down and making me cynical. I will have to tell you about it... you going to be at the show Sunday?
