Always make me think of two things: 1) There is a book named "Women Who Run with the Wolves" by Clarissa Pinkola Estes (http://www.amazon.com/Women-Who-Run-Wolves-Archetype/dp/0345377443/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1231463340&sr=1-1) that mentions bones. Digging up bones as a metaphor for going within and digging down to the "marrow" or soul...unearthing the core of self(bones), deciphering and reintegrating only the absolutely essential of a person and their life.
2) Peter Gabriel's song "Digging in the Dirt". Which are both pretty apt to where you are at right now, methinks! :-) This is a rich time for you. And, I'd bet, necessary. Thanks for including me on the journey. BTW: LOVE the serendipity of finding that necklace at the thrift store-WIN!
