I'm glad that Dean killed Castiel in the end...that is the only way this scenario could have ended and worked for me. I wouldn't have believed for one minute that Dean would let his brother's killer live, no matter who they were.

Castiel's own tormented soul was battling a malevolent and pervading presence that was so destructive and uncontrollable that the intensity of his conscious desperation and fright was unmistakable.
In a purely altruistic sense Dean killed something that had become evil and craved death itself. But speaking with an eye on canon'istic concessions I felt a little pang of regret and pity for Castiel's helpless inner struggles:).

Nicely done.

Still hot though...lol. Poor Sam, Poor Dean, Poor Castiel.
