The next morning I woke up a bit early in order to attempt to make the walk out to the oratory. I was accompanied by an American woman from the hostel who also wanted to see it, and a photocopy of a map given to me by a nice woman at the visitor centre. I'm rather interested in irish/scottish/welsh/breton/etc. music and the places mentioned by the music. I would appreciate seeing any photos you'd be willing to share. Hope this isn't too intrusive, I'm enjoying your travel writing.

Sure. Have you any favourite groups or songs? I might know one or two.

It's taken until yesterday for me to have a steady enough internet connection to start uploading my pictures. I'll make a post with a link shortly.

favorite bands: altan, early lorena mckennit- especially 'To drive away the cold winter', clancy bros. & tommy makem, dust rhinos, old blind dogs, andy m stewart, the fenians, cherish the ladies, june tabor when she's not using too much jazz, sinead o'connor's version of foggy dew & any time she sings with the cheiftans, the voice squad, Lintie ( ... )
