Wonderful silver-tongued creature.

They may not be for everyone, but I think they're worth trying, should you get the chance. I didn't love them instantly, but I now regard them almost as highly as tea. I love foods with a bit of ritual to them.

I was offered them once when I was in Nova Scotia. I was eating salmon. My companion tried the oysters and said "... a bit sandy."

Ha! I believe we use fancy machines involving lots of running water before ours get to my end to help manage that problem.
