1. First up, thanks, y'all for all the kind words on my last post. I don't know if I'll be able to get around to replying to those comments. But I love you all for thinking of me so sincerely

Good lord that's a lot of movies. And man, even though I'm not a Woody Allen fan either, I really liked Midnight in Paris. Hemingway was wonderful. Dali was wonderful. F. Scott Fitzgerald was wonderful. Adriana was wonderful. The feel of the whole thing was kind of drippy and sentimental, but in that warm, sepia way.
I really need to finish reading TTSS, but I'm glad I saw the movie first so I can keep everyone straight in my head.
In our defense, it rained the entire weekend and we couldn't go outside, and Friday it hailed! But yeah. I also watched two episodes of EMH, two of Korra, and three of Psych. It's a wonder I'm not fused to the couch.
Dali was the best! And I like the drippy sentimentality that it caused in me. I feel like Woody Allen movies don't resonate with me because I cannot relate and am unwilling to bend to his side of thinking, but this is a movie about books! and authors! so yeah.
I haven't seen many of those movies, but the ones I did, are awesome. I have much love for XMFC. It's an Xmen movie, so there's that, but it's also the first movie I went to by myself, and I loved it. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen- I adore Peta Wilson. And Sean Connery. And Shane West. Prince of Persia- I have a thing for Gemma Arterton. How To Train Your Dragon- SO MUCH LOVE. Gnomeo and Juliet- Isn't it adorable? We need to buy more gnomes. I saw Gnome key thingies, and I wanted to buy them. I should have.
Gnomes are awesome. I think I might start collecting them. Is that weird? I just love 'em!
Indeed. Stuart Townsend pulls of many awesome characters. I like that they're all literary characters. It appeals to the nerd in me.
I bought Batman stuff on Etsy today. One for a friend turning 30 two weeks before me, and then one for myself (and a third one cause it was free, a Wonder Woman necklace!)
Umm.. med probably? Sometimes large if it doesn't fit across my chest. Jem is awesome.
TTSS is a great movie. <3 And Gary Oldman is an amazing actor, he really is. I think next to Heath Ledger he was the best thing that happened to the new Batman-movies. Oh X-Men: First Class. *__* So. Much. Love. And Prince of Persia. Of course - Gemma Atterton, but also brothers. I have such a huge kink for brother-relationships. <3 And Jake Gyllenhaal looks SO GOOD in that movie.
I think I didn't get around saying it yet, but I'm really sorry to hear about the death of your grandmother's friend. It's such a sad thing to lose friends ... it never really stops hurting, because they always knew parts of you that nobody else has known. So it's like little pieces of ourselves dying everytime...

I think we own League of Extraordinary Gentlemen on dvd somewhere. I like Stuart Townsend's Dorian Gray very much.
Side note, I saw a Jem shirt the other day and I wanted to get it for you. I might still. What size t shirt do you wear?

Other times, amazingly disturbing. I don't want to be friends with my subconscious.
