I'm not big on war stuff. I haven't even watched Band of Brothers. I'm not sure why I'm watching this.

I LOVE Band of Brothers, but I'm also partial to WWII. I've heard that The Pacific isn't as tightly worked as Band of Brothers, but mostly because it jumps all over the Pacific Theater and doesn't follow one group of men like BoB did. That said, I'd be interested in hearing how you feel about it when you do watch it.
