In the morning we woke late to find T still there, even though the plan had been for her to leave early. Shenanigans with trains meant that she had decided to drive to Birmingham. Other than the directions, Ordeals, slow elevator and the construction this sounds like a pretty awesome day. The Birmingham Library is gorgeous, though that owl statue reminds me of the mechanical owl from "Clash of the Titans." I had no idea there even was a Cadbury World but the weird rides and that giant bag o' chocolate have piqued my interest.

I didn't even know that Cadbury World was a thing. *drools* Also, just imagine Eames and Arthur visiting it. Eames would lose it.

Also, we saw the library on one of those top 10 buildings shows. It looked rather funky. :)
