That was quite moving. I'm glad Jackie wrote Pete a letter, and I'm glad Brem took it across. And I'm so glad Mickey is having a happy life.
Doing the math, if it really was 80 years before Brem could use his TARDIS, and Brem was about 22 when he first saw it, and Jackie was about 41 when Brem was born, then (depending on how long "not that long" is) she lived to be at least 140! There are definitely advantages to having the Doctor as an in-law! (And I'm so glad Rose and the kids had her for so long!)
I see Brem has acquired a suitable coat in the interim!
I wanted everyone to be happy. Happier than they would have been without the Doctor. I know RTD says that about the Doctor all the time, but I wanted to really show it.
This was lovely, but I think my favorite part was Pete seeing the Tyler in Brem. Because of course he would be the one to see it, and how nice for Brem to be able to hear it, after all the times he's been told he's exactly like his father.
Yes. You tend to see in people the part you know best, and I liked the idea that Pete, who got to know Rose pretty well but never really knew the Doctor at all, would see Rose in her son.
