Canned Stewed tomatoes, plus chicken stock, plus sauteed cabbage, makes for a great, easy broth/soup. Add in a little fresh fish and some butter to finish, maybe pinch o' sage or parsely, you have a good meal. You could probably use some of that kale instead of cabbage- chop, sautee in olive Oil.. plus maybe a little fat from the pork chops. :)

Sounds like a solid and rather healthy set of groceries indeed! Good work, and a reasonable price. (me, i spend about $30-50 a month on groceries, half of which is beverages.. but I also have #1 The Mom'goose buying stuff and #2 Free eats at work.)
