WOW YES THAT'S IT.

You are brilliant for coming up with this - I love the idea that Eames was there first, and that he is really JUST THAT CREATIVE, and the whole second idea was so sweet and revolutionary and, and, wow. I'm speechless. What an amazing concept and a brilliant execution.

This is lovely: I always wanted Eames to be the inventor of forging, and I love that he wants to bring Arthur in on it -- both the original forging and the new forging of.

And I especially like that this is told from Arthur's POV and he's such a master at hiding how he feels, even from himself, at times.
